Following the procedure as described in Example 13, making variations as necessary to replace ethyl 4-methyl-2-(4-(3-phenylpropyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)thiazole-5-carboxylate with ethyl 4-methyl-2-(4-(2-phenylpropyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)thiazole-5-carboxylate, the title compound was obtained as a white solid in 70% yield: 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) δ 11.21 (s, 1H), 8.08 (s, 1H), 7.31-7.21 (m, 5H), 3.19-3.05 (m, 4H), 2.75 (s, 3H); MS (ES+) m/z 315.3 (M+1).
