141 g benzylbromide was added to 66 g 4-(5-methyl-oxazol-2-yl)-pyridine in 1.5 L acetone. The mixture was refluxed over night. The precipitate was filtered to give 126 g of the desired product. Rf: 0.00 (petrolether/ethyl acetate=1/1), (M+H)+: 252
