Reaction Steps
1.50 g of methyl 5-[6-({[tert-butyl(dimethyl)silyl]oxy}methyl)-1H-imidazo[4,5-c]pyridin-1-yl]-3-[-1-(2-chloro-4-cyanophenyl)ethoxy]thiophene-2-carboxylate are dissolved in 60 ml of a 7 N solution of ammonia in methanol. The reaction mixture is stirred for 5 hours at 125° C. under microwave radiation.
