Reaction Steps
0.33 g (0.94 mmoles) of 7,8-dichloro-4-methyl-1-(4-nitrophenyl)-4,5-dihydro-3H-2,3-benzodiazepine obtained in Example 9, Step C are reacted with methyl isocyanate according to Example 3. The crude product is purified by suspending it in hot ethanol. Thus, 0.37 g (97%) of the title compound are obtained. M.p.: 221°-223° C.
