Procedure
2-(6-((trans)-4-tert-butylcyclohexyloxy)naphthalen-2-yl)propan-2-amine (113 mg, 0.33 mmol, 1.0 eq.) and methyl acrylate (86 mg, 0.99 mmol, 3.0 eq.) was dissolved in MeOH (2 mL). The mixture was reflux for 16 h. The mixture was concentrated and purified by silica gel chromatography (DCM:MeOH=20:1) to give the title compound (100 mg, 71%) as a slight yellow oil. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ: 7.73-7.68 (m, 3H), 7.60 (dd, 1H), 7.13-7.16 (m, 2H), 4.26-4.23 (m, 1H), 3.66 (s, 3H), 2.62 (t, 2H), 2.50 (t, 2H), 2.28-2.26 (m, 2H), 1.90-1.87 (m, 2H), 1.58 (s, 6H), 1.45-1.38 (m, 2H), 1.19-1.09 (m, 3H), 0.89 (s, 9H).
