[4-(t-Butyl-dimethyl-silanyloxymethyl)-piperidin-1-yl]-carbamic acid t-butyl ester (100 mg, 290 μmol) was at 0° C. combined with dichloromethane (3 mL) and trifluoroacetic acid (3 mL) to give a light yellow solution. The reaction mixture was stirred for 2 h at 0° C. and subsequently concentrated in vacuo to give the title compound as yellow oil, which was used without further purification in the next step.
