0.07 g of 2-chloro-9-(2-methoxyethyl)-8,8-dimethyl-6,7,8,9-tetrahydro-4H-pyrimido-[1,2-a]pyrimidin-4-one in 2.5 mL of morpholine are heated with the microwave oven to 80° C. for 2 h. The crude is purified by flash chromatography on silica gel SiO2 (100% CH2Cl2 to 92/8 CH2Cl2/MeOH). 0.050 g (yield=58%) of 9-(2-methoxyethyl)-8,8-dimethyl-2-(morpholin-4-yl)-6,7,8,9-tetrahydro-4H-pyrimido[1,2-a]-pyrimidin-4-one are obtained as a white solid including the following characteristics:
