To a solution of the product from Example 25E (0.920 g, 1.73 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (20 mL) was added trifluoroacetic acid (2.66 mL, 34.6 mmol) under nitrogen. The reaction mixture was stirred overnight at room temperature. The reaction mixture was concentrated to remove excess trifluoroacetic acid and then diluted with CH2Cl2 (150 ml). The organic layer was washed with saturated aqueous NaHCO3 solution, water, and brine, dried with MgSO4, filtered, and concentrated. Purification by chromatography on silica gel, eluting with 7N NH3 in CH3OH/CH2Cl2, 3:97) yielded the title compound: 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ ppm 7.42-7.30 (m, 8H), 4.16 (s, 2H), 3.40-3.29 (m, 7H), 2.75-2.59 (m, 6H).
