A solution of the hydroxypropylimidazole was treated with 3-pyridylisocyanate as for the starting material of Example 12, to give 2-fluoro-4-[3-(pyrid-3-yl)carbamoyloxypropyl]-1-triphenylmethylimidazole having the following n.m.r. spectrum in CDCl3 : 1.97 (m, 2H); 2.5 (t, 2H); 4.16 (t, 2H); 6.25 (s, 1H); 6.9 (br s, 1H); 7.0-7.5 (m, 15H); 7.7-8.6 (m, 4H).
