Use of the same technique as for the starting material of Example 29, but replacing acetyl chloride with isonicotinoyl chloride gave 2-fluoro-4-(2-isonicotinoylaminoethyl)-1-triphenylmethylimidazole, having the following n.m.r. spectrum in CDCl3 : 2.7 (t, 2H); 3.71 (q, 2H); 6.35 (s, 1H); 7.0-7.5 (m, 15H); 7.65 (q, 2H); 8.72 (q, 2H).
