Reaction Steps
Using Method B, the reaction of 7-(2,3-epoxypropoxy)-2,3-diphenychromone and allylamine afforded the desired amine as white needles, m.p. 119°-120° (iPrOH); yield, 82%. Its hydrochloride salt had m.p. 140°-142° (iPrOH/phCH3); containing water).
