PROCEDURE

实验过程

A solution of 950 mg of cis-2-(N-t-butylcarbamoyl)-9-methoxy-4-methyl-2,3,4a,5-tetrahydro-4H-[1]-benzopyrano[3,4-b]pyridine in 50 ml of 0.1M ethanolic sodium ethoxide is heated at 70° for 15 minutes. After removal of the solvent in vacuo, the residue is chromatographed over 20 g of silica gel with ether/hexane 1:1 as the eluent to give trans-2-(N-t-butylcarbamoyl)-9-methoxy-4-methyl-2,3,4a,5-tetrahydro-4H-[1]-benzopyrano[3,4-b]pyridine crystallized as the hydrochloride salt, melting point 238°-240°.
