Reaction Steps
Thus obtained sodium 2-[2-nitro-3-(2-chlorophenoxy)phenyl]acetate was subjected successively to catalytic reduction using Raney nickel to give sodium 2-[2-amino-3-(2-chlorophenoxy)phenyl]acetate. This product was identified with crop obtained in Example 5-(2) by I.R. and N.M.R. spectra.
