3-(2-Chloro-4-iodo-phenylamino)-N-(5-hydroxy-pentyl)-isonicotinamide was synthesized according to the procedure for General Method 1, outlined above, starting with 0.30 mmol of 3-[(2-chloro-4-iodophenyl)amino]isonicotinic acid (intermediate 2) and 0.40 mmol of 5-amino-pentan-1-ol.
