Procedure

A mixture of (S)-1-(7-chloro-6-fluoro-1-phenyl-1H-benzoimidazol-2-yl)ethylamine dihydrochloride (150 mg, 0.41 mmol), 6-chloro-9-(tetrahydropyran-2-yl)-9H-purine (118 mg, 0.49 mmol) and DIPEA (280 μL, 1.65 mmol) in n-butanol (3 mL) was heated at 90° C. in a sealed vial for 18 h. After cooling to RT, the volatiles were removed under reduced pressure and the resulting residue purified by column chromatography (Si—PCC, gradient 0-10% MeOH in EtOAc) to afford the title compound (166 mg, 82%). LCMS (Method B): RT 3.57 min [M+H]+ 492.0/493.8.
