A mixture of (5-fluoro-2-nitrophenyl)-(6-fluoropyridin-3-yl)amine (571 mg, 2.27 mmol) in EtOAc (40 mL) was degassed with a stream of nitrogen prior to addition of 10% Pd/C (57 mg) and was stirred at RT under a hydrogen atmosphere for 22 h. The mixture was filtered through a phase separator and the filtrate concentrated in vacuo to afford the title compound as a dark oil (524 mg, quantitative). LCMS (Method C): RT 2.39 min [M+H]+ 222.2.
