Procedure

[(S)-1-(7-Bromo-1-phenyl-1H-benzoimidazol-2-yl)ethyl][9-(tetrahydropyran-2-yl)-9H-purin-6-yl]amine (60 mg, 0.12 mmol) was dissolved in HCl (1 mL, 1M in MeOH) and the resulting solution was stirred for 15 min. The solvent was removed in vacuo and the residue was crystallised from hot IPA to give 292 as white crystals (53 mg, 98%). 1H NMR (DMSO-d6, 400 MHz): δ 8.64-8.47 (2H, m), 7.82-7.76 (2H, m), 7.74-7.50 (5H, m), 7.44 (1H, t, J=8.1 Hz), 5.53-5.41 (1H, m), 1.84 (3H, d, J=7.0 Hz). LCMS (Method K): RT 3.69 min; m/z [M+H]+ 434/436
