Procedure

tert-Butyl 5-(4-methyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)hexahydropyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrrole-2(1H)-carboxylate (43 mg, 0.142 mmol), DCM (1.4 mL) and TFA (0.71 mL) were stirred at room temperature for 2 h. The mixture was concentrated in vacuo and taken on to the next step without further purification.
