A solution of 3-fluoro-1-(phenylsulfonyl)-6-(trimethylstannanyl)-1H-indazol-4-amine (0.65 g, 1.43 mmol), 4-bromo-6-fluoro-1-[(4-nitrophenyl)sulfonyl]-1H-indole (0.69 g, 1.71 mmol) and tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium (0) (0.17 g, 0.14 mmol) in DMF (5 mL) was heated to 120° C. for 18 hr. The mixture was concentrated in vacuo and purified by silica cartridge (100 g) by Flashmaster II using a gradient of cyclohexane and ethyl acetate to give the title compound as an orange solid (0.48 g).
