In a manner similar to that of Example (25a), by reaction of 300 μL (2.4 mmol, 2.6 eq) of 3-fluorobenzyl bromide and 400 mg (0.93 mmol, 1 eq) of methyl 3-[3′-(3-heptyl-1-methylureido)-2-hydroxybiphenyl-4-yl]propanoate (prepared in Example 15f) in 10 ml of methyl ethyl ketone in the presence of 500 mg (3.61 mmol, 3.9 eq) of potassium carbonate at 90° C. for 3 hours, methyl 3-[2-(3-fluorobenzyloxy)-3′-(3-heptyl-1-methylureido)biphenyl-4-yl]propanoate is obtained in oil form and is used in the following reaction without further purification.
