Procedure
A solution of acetate 308 (18 mg; 41 μmol) and triethylamine (0.5 mL) in dry methanol (2.0 mL) was stirred at room temperature for 16 h and then concentrated in vacuo to give the title compound 309 in quantitative yield. 1H NMR: (400.2 MHz, DMSO) δ (ppm): 9.70 (s, 1H), 8.22 (s, 1H), 7.84 (dd; J=1.4, 8.2 Hz; 1H); 7.57 (d, J=8.4 Hz, 1H), 7.49 (d; J=2.2 Hz; 1H); 7.34 (dd; J=1.4, 5.1 Hz; 1H); 7.28 (dd; J=2.2, 8.2 Hz; 1H); 7.23 (dd; J=1.1, 3.5 Hz; 1H); 7.04 (dd; J=3.5, 5.1 Hz; 1H); 6.80 (d; J=8.4 Hz; 1H); 5.14 (bs, 2H); 5.00 (bs, 1H); 4.28 (t; J=5.4 Hz; 2H); 3.72 (t; J=5.4 Hz; 2H); 2.59 (s, 3H). MS: calc: 392.5; found: 393.2 (M+H).
