A mixture of the bromo adduct E1 (100 mg, 0.32 mmol), of commercial 3-hydroxyphenyl piperazine (57 mg, 0.32 mmol) and triethylamine (0.07 mL, 0.5 mmol) in CH3CN are reluxed during 16 h. The solvent is evaporated and the residue is taken up in CH2Cl2 (15 mL), washed with brine, dried and concentrated. The residue is purified by chromatography eluting with AcOEt:MeOH (9/1) to yield the titled adduct (mp 152° C., 70 mg, 54%)
