Reaction Steps
3.2 g 4-Chloro-2-(2-cyclohexyl-4-methyl-imidazol-1-yl)-nitrobenzene, 50 ml ethanol, and 0.5 g Raney-Nickel were heated in a closed vessel with 10 bar hydrogen at 40-45° C. The catalyst was filtered off and the solvent was removed by distillation.
