To a solution of 1-(2-chlorophenyl)-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-3-methyl-5-piperidin-1-yl-1,5,6,7-tetrahydropyrrolo[3,2-c]pyridine-4-one (0.54 g, 1.24 mmol) in dichloromethane (30 ml) at 0° C. was added triethylamine (0.20 ml, 1.50 mmol) followed by 3,3,3-trifluoropropane sulfonyl chloride (295 mg, 1.50 mmol). The reaction mixture was subsequently stirred at room temperature for 2.5 hours. Concentration and purification by flash chromatography (heptane:EtOAc gradient) afforded 65 mg (9%) of the title compound as a colorless solid.
