6-Methoxypyrido[2,3-b]pyrazin-3(4H)-one (Intermediate 204, 0.085 g, 0.48 mmol) was deprotonated with sodium hydride (0.030 g, 60% in oil, 0.7.5 mmol) and alkylated with 2-{4-[(tert-butoxycarbonyl)amino]piperidin-1-yl}ethyl methanesulfonate (Intermediate 6) (1.05 mmol) as described for Intermediate 2. Chromatography on silica gel with 0-25% acetone in dichloromethane gave 0.13 g of the title compound.
