Reaction Steps
To a solution of 10 g of bicyclo[3.2.1]octane-2,4-dione in 100 ml of dichloromethane was added dropwise 70 ml of a dichloromethane solution having dissolved therein 19.1 g of 2-nitro-4-methylsulfonylbenzoyl chloride while ice cooling.
