Preparation From 1-allyl-1-[2-(N-cyclobutylmethylamino)ethyl]-2,2-ethylenedioxy-7-methoxy-1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalene (XIXb). Compound XIXb (33.7 g) treated with hydrochloric acid in aqueous ethanol according to Example 39(b) afforded 27.5 g (98%) IIf identical with the material obtained in Example 40(a) above.
