Procedure
2-Amino-4(p-methoxyphenyl)-5-methyl-7-propylimidazo[5,1-f]-as-triazine was prepared from 2-amino-3,4-dihydro-4(p-methoxyphenyl)-5-methyl-7-propylimidazo[5,1-f]-as-triazine (Example 14b). It was converted to its hydrochloride, which was crystallised from a mixture of ethanol and ether and had m.p. 224°-226° (21%).
