If 1,2,3,11a-tetrahydro-10-methyl-7 -trifluoromethyl-5 H-pyrrolo[2,1-c] [1,4] benzodiazepin-5,11(10H)-dione (prepared from proline and 5-trifluoromethyl N-methylisatoic anhydride as described in Example 1) is treated with 1M borane in tetrahydrofuran as described in Example 1, the above compound is obtained.
