Prepared from 3-iodo-6-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine (example C.24 step 2) (2.3 g, 6 mmol) and trimethylsilylacetylene (1.64 mL, 12 mmol) as described in example C.20 step 4. Obtained the title compound as a yellow solid (1.9 g, 89%). MS (ISP) 359.1 [(M+H)+].
