The title compound was prepared from 3-ethynyl-7-trifluoromethyl-5-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine (example C.1) (178 mg, 0.5 mmol) and commercially available 5-bromo-thiophene-2-sulfonic acid pyridin-3-ylamide [CAS-No. 439934-18-6] (160 mg, 0.5 mmol) according to general procedure II and subsequent cleavage of the protecting group with TFA in dichloromethane at 0° C. Obtained as a yellow solid (200 mg, 67%). MS (ISN) 592.1 [(M−H)−]; mp 248° C.
