Reaction Steps
3.7 ml of a 4M solution of hydrogen chloride in dioxane are added to a solution of 71 mg (0.091 mmol) of benzyl{2-[((2S)-4-{[(benzyloxy)carbonyl]amino}-2-{[N5-[(benzyloxy)carbonyl]-N2-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)-L-ornithyl]amino}butanoyl)amino]ethyl}carbamate (Example 112A) in 1.5 ml of dioxane at RT. After 4 h at RT, the reaction solution is concentrated in vacuo, coevaporated with dichloromethane several times and dried under high vacuum. The crude product is reacted without further purification.
