tert-Butyl [(1R,3S)-3-isopropyl-3-({4-[5-(trifluoromethyl)pyridin-3-yl]piperazin-1-yl}carbonyl)cyclopentyl]carbamate (190 mg, 0.14 mmol) was treated with a 4.0 M solution of HCl in 1,4-dioxane (5 mL) for 1 h at room temperature. The mixture was concentrated and purified by HPLC to provide 35 mg of desired product. MS calculated for C19H27F3N4O; (M+H) 385; found 385.1.
