Procedure

6-(2,4-Difluoro-phenoxy)-3-styryl-1-(2-trimethylsilanyl-ethoxymethyl)-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine (42 mg, 0.08 mmol) was dissolved in 1 mL MeOH and treated with 1.1 mL of 10% HCl in Et2O. The reaction mixture was stirred overnight at room temperature, and then concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by preparative TLC (4:1 hexanes/EtOAc) to yield 0.037 g of 6-(2,4-difluoro-phenoxy)-3-styryl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine. Mass Spec. M+H=351.
