Reaction Steps
The ethyl ester (200 mg, 0.4 mmol) from Step B was hydrolysed using NaOH (64 mg, 1.6 mmol) in ethanol (10 ml) and water (5 ml) by the procedure described in Step C of Example 1 (141 mg, 75%).
