Reaction Steps
A mixture of 0.4 mol of 2,6-difluoropyridine, 0.6 mol of thiophenol, 0.6 mol of NaOH, 450 ml of water, 180 ml of toluene and 3.5 g of tetrabutylammonium bromide is refluxed for hours.
