Compound 7g (2.7 g, 4.2 mmol) was dissolved in dichloromethane (10 mL), TFA (14 mL, 175 mmol) was added, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 4.5 hours. After concentration, the residue was taken up in DCM and saturated aqueous NaHCO3 was added. The aq. layer was extracted with DCM. Combined organic extracts were dried over Na2SO4 and concentrated to give compound 7h (2.2 g, 96%). MS (CI) m/z 548.0, 550.0 (MH+).
