The product obtained in Step B (290 mg, 0.68 mmol) in ethanol (12 ml) in the presence of NaBH4 (77 mg, 2.03 mmol) is stirred at ambient temperature for 1 hour. 10 ml of 1N HCl are added and extraction (CH2Cl2) is carried out. The title product is purified by chromatography on a silica column (CH2Cl2/MeOH 99/1).
