The title compound is prepared from 1-[6-(4-bromo-2-chloro-phenylamino)-7-fluoro-3H-benzoimidazol-5-yl]-2-ethoxy-ethanol 10o according to the procedure described in Example 42, Step B except that the reaction mixture is not treated with saturated aqueous NaHCO3 containing sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate. MS APCI (+) m/z 426, 428 (M+, Br pattern) detected; 1H NMR (400 MHz, CD3OD) δ 8.36 (s, 1H), 8.04 (s, 1H), 7.51 (d, 1H), 7.21 (dd, 1H), 6.51 (dd, 1H), 4.76 (s, 2H), 3.57 (q, 2H), 1.19 (t, 3H); 19F NMR (376 MHz, CD3OD) −133.96 (s).
