The title compound is prepared from 1-[6-(4-bromo-2-chloro-phenylamino)-7-fluoro-3H-benzoimidazol-5-yl]-2-methanesulfonyl-ethanol 10t by the procedure described in Example 42, Step B except that the reaction mixture is not treated with saturated aqueous NaHCO3 containing sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate: MS APCI (+) m/z 460, 462 (M+, Br pattern) detected; 1H NMR (400 MHz, acetone-d6) δ 8.44 (s, 1H), 8.33 (s, 1H), 7.59 (s, 1H), 7.32 (d, 1H), 6.68 (dd, 1H), 5.00 (s, 1H), 3.15 (s, 3H); 19F NMR (376 MHz, acetone-d6) −132.97 (s).
