To a solution of 3-(4-fluorophenyl)-N-[2-(2-hydroxy-ethyl)-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-quinazolin-5-yl]-3-(3-trifluoromethyl-benzenesulfonylamino)-propionamide (56.6 mg, 0.1 mmol) in dry CH2Cl2 at 0 C was added MsCl (34 mg, 0.3 mmol), followed by Et3N (50 mg, 0.5 mmol). After stirring at 0° C. for 20 min, the reaction was quenched with Sat. NaHCO3 solution, extracted with EtOAc, dried over Na2SO4, and evaporated in vacuo. Flash chromatography (SiO2, EtOAc/MeOH=100:3 to 100:5 to 100:7) gave the title compound as a white solid. MS: 645.0 (M+1).
