Reaction Steps
A solution of the product from step (iv) (0.18 g) in glacial acetic acid (6 ml) was stirred at 100° C. for 2 hours. The solution was evaporated to dryness (azeotroped twice with toluene) and the residue purified by chromatography eluting with ethyl acetate.
