tert-Butyl 4-[5-(7-amino[1,3]thiazolo[5,4-d]pyrimidin-2-yl)-1-methyl-4-phenyl-1H-imidazol-2-yl]-3,6-dihydropyridine-1(2H)-carboxylate (Example 102) (20 mg) was dissolved in DCM (0.5 mL), TFA (2 mL) added, stirred at ambient temperature for 2 hours then concentrated in vacuo. The residue was diluted with saturated aqueous sodium bicarbonate, extracted with DCM (2×5 mL), organics dried, filtered and concentrated in vacuo. Purification by flash chromatography on silica gel eluting with 10% MeOH/DCM gave the title compound as a colourless solid (11 mg, 69%);
