实验过程

In a 20 ml-round-bottomed flask, 0.95 g (2.00 mM) of 2-(6-decyloxy-2-naphthoylamino)-4-butylphenol, 0.07 g of p-toluenesulfonic acid monohydrate and 8 ml of o-dichlorobenzene were placed, followed by stirring for 30 min. at 200°-203° C. After the reaction, o-dichlorbenzene dichlorobenzene was distilled-off under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (eluent: toluene/hexane=1/1) and recrystallized from acetone) to obtain 0.56 g of 2-(6-decyloxy-2-naphthyl)-5-butyl-benzoxazole (yield: 48.4 %). ##STR34##
