Obtained using the procedure described in section c of Example 2, starting with 3.0 g (0.025 mole) of 3-amino-2-pyrazinecarbonitrile and 3.8 g (0.025 mole) of 2-phenoxyacetamidine [prepared according to C. Djerassi and C. R. Scholz, J. Am. Chem. Soc., 1947, 69, 1688] in 100 ml if absolute ethanol. Refluxing time: 4 hours. Yld: 5.4 g (85%), m.p. 202°-204° C. (ethanol).
