Procedure
To a mixture of 2-(2-aminoethoxy)-1H-isoindole-1,3(2H)-dione hydrochloride 75 (0.53 g, 2.19 mmol, EP 16744522 A1, 2006), tert-butyl (chlorosulfonyl)carbamate 76 (0.71 g, 3.28 mmol, WO 2006/84281 A1) in DCM (10 mL) was added triethylamine (0.92 mL, 6.57 mmol) slowly at 0° C. The resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature for 7 h and concentrated to provide a residue which was subjected to chromatography to give 77 (0.63 g, 74° A) as a white foam.
