0.1 mL of thiophenol was added to a suspension of 300 mg of (R)—N-[1-{N-(2-chlorophenethyl)-2-nitrophenylsulfonamido}propan-2-yl]isoquinoline-6-sulfonamide and 360 mg of potassium carbonate in 20 mL of acetonitrile, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 16 hours. 50 mL of water was added to the reaction solution, followed by extraction with ethyl acetate (50 mL×2). The organic layer was dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate. After filtration, the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure. The obtained crude product was purified by silica gel column chromatography (dichloromethane:methanol=10:1) to obtain 179 mg of the title compound as a white solid (87%).
