A mixture comprising 7-bromoimidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-3-carboxylic acid (Intermediate 1A step 3) (1.4 g, 5.81 mmol) and thionyl chloride (8.48 ml, 116 mmol) was heated at 100° C. for 1.5 hrs. The mixture was concentrated in vacuo. 3-Amino-N-(3,4-difluorobenzyl)-4-fluorobenzamide (step 1) (1.4 g, 5.00 mmol) and pyridine (16.65 ml) was added and the resulting suspension was stirred at RT for 1 hour. EtOAc and MeOH were added and the mixture was filtered. The white solid was dried to afford the title compound;
