2,6-Dihydroxy-5-fluoronicotinic acid (2.25 g) was dissolved in dioxane (25 mL) and refluxed for 15 minutes. After being cooled, the solvent was evaporated to obtain Compound 4a (1.65 g). Yield: 99%1 H-NMR (DMSOd6, δPPM): 7.26 (1H, dd, J=7.7 Hz, J=11.0 Hz), 5.45 (1H, d, J=6.6 Hz)
