The process is performed according to the procedure described in Example 6 (step 6.2.). 3.25 mL (23.34 mmol) of triethylamine and then 0.91 mL (11.67 mmol) of mesyl chloride are added to a solution of 2.43 g (7.78 mmol) of 7-[5-(4-fluorophenyl)pyridin-2-yl]-7-azaspiro[3.5]nonan-2-ol, obtained in step 10.2., in 25 mL of dichloromethane. 3.03 g of product are obtained in the form of a yellow oil, which is used without further purification in the following step.
